The smart wireless nurse call system managed and planned by EMSD; and jointly developed by HKPC and Weltek Technologies Co Ltd, is designed for hospitals and health institutions to meet the needs of a large number of mobile beds deployed during the peak flu season. During flu winter surge, a lot of temporary beds without nurse call system are placed at corridors to meet the increasing amount of patients. The SMART Wireless Nurse Call System can provide nurse call function to patients at temporary beds, so that patients can feel cared. This system utilizes LoRa wireless transmission technology, complies with medical requirement IEC60601-1-2 and OFCA requirements.
